Basic Bookbinding Tool Kit

We recommend that you have a BBTK with the listed items below to bring to each of our get togethers. If you need help sourcing any of the items please contact us.

Cutting Mat (an old phone book or magazine can be used instead)
X-acto knife & blades; clip-point knife
Utility knife
Pencil
Rulers: see-through plastic & metal straight edge
Large-eyed tapestry needle (blunt) or #2 crewel needle
Clothes pins or binder-clips (5 or 6)
Glue Stick (we recommend UHU) and/or other types of adhesive, such as a PVA (you can get bottles of this at Spokane Art Supply)
Glue Brush & Waste Paper
Bone Folder
Awl (T-pin or thin sharp sewing needle glued into a bottle cork)
